Aveling Barford Roller
 
Has anyone have or know of for sale a Aveling Barford 10 Tonne Full Size Roller. It must have rear entry access,with Coal Bunkers on either side of access. Prefer it to be in Rally Condition please.

I have been to see it, not interested because still on original firebox and boiler.

you'd be better off with a wallis advance they have rear entry (ooh errr) too.

Well there is now only 6 in the country.

One in Ireland and the compound one in Switzerland.

I think you will struggle to find one with an excellent boiler, they were all built late, had short working lives and therefore the ones about are generally on servicable original boilers. Some are more servicable that others of course.

You just missed the one that has just gone to Ireland, again on its original firebox, but it was still at its original working pressure.
