FFF & B Ploughing Match 2012

A small steam selection from Manor Farm Hatford today.Garrett 33442 (BL 9009) was apparently originally used at the farm and brought back specially for the event to be re-united with the son of its original owner who is now 102.

Looks good.
When we did the 3F's we rarely saw sunshine. On one occasion we pulled the plough across the field once, retired for a cup of tea during which the rain began. the rest of the day was spent getting the engines out of the field and loaded home.

Did you get a picture of the tatty(LOVELY) Field Marshall tractor that was infront of the steam number 1014 im not that up on my ic tractors but its great. Been on the farm since 1939 bought to replace the Garrett.

They were very lucky with their choice of a well draining site. A little bit of give in parts & a couple of puddles but that was it.

Didn't get a picture of the Field Marshall - I'm not so much into tractors other than the very early examples. The immaculate International Titan 10-20 driving the saw bench was good!
