Burrell 4" single crank compound roadroller

For Sale Burrell single crank compound road roller.
The engine is build to a very high standard and portrays the original so well that photos of the motion have been used as examples in a book on engine driving.

Since I have owned the engine it has been tested each year by Jonathan Wheeler, it now has its own written scheme and had its ten year hydraulic test two years ago. It comes with a boiler ticket until June 2012. It steams well is a true compound and the safety valves lift at 150lb, the engine has been regularly shown since it has been in my ownership and is farley well travelled and always draws interest and appreciative comments . I think she comes in around 12 cwt, the weight and the thick rolls means she sounds the part on a hard road.
The engine has been road tested by Mike Dyson for the Old Glory magazine and there are some excellent photos in the article

I am asking £16k or very near offer. The engine gives you an opportunity to acquire one of the best miniature road rollers to be seen on the rally field today.

The engine can be seen in steam by prior arrangement.

Stuart.
