Steam Scenes 25th August 2012 07:03 PM

Steam Plough Club Hands On, 25/08/2012

A few pictures I took today in the sunshine and extreme showers at the Steam Plough Club Hands On event that they are holding over the bank holiday weekend.

Today was mainly moving engines around, the ploughing begins tomorrow.

Must admit I enjoyed the sat seeing the z7 going down the lanes was very impressive not something you tend to see everyday.
I have been to allot of rallies since I. Was able to walk but since crossing codes from vintage tractors to steam which has always been my first love I have met some very helpfully and friendley people, this was proved saturday and Sunday everyone was very friendley and made me most welcome I look forward to lots of rallies meeting up and doing some ploughing in the future

Exactly a most welcoming & informative bunch of chaps plus a couple of stalwart women which made for a really good event,i met various folk with stories to tell plus one chap over from Oz on holiday who owns a list of steam engines as long as your arm, not many TTers though, but probably more than i met.
