What's the traction engine in the shed?

FTR3456 30th July 2012 08:44 PM

Looks like a Garrett. Wish it was in my Shed. Very nice.

The traction engine is a Ruston and Proctor, 4nhp single cylinder from memory

It is a ruston and proctor and it was in a school (playground) that closed and the people next door aquired it and they sold it on to the current owner about 15 years ago. the boiler is not steamable, but it is a nice little engine.
