Marshall Rally
 

There will be around 5 engines plus they are trying to have the whole range of marshall tractors. Nice day out and helps fund the Hertitage centre which looks after the Marshall drawings and provides copies and access :)

Vintage bus service to and from rally is now leaving from Gainsborough Old Hall rather than Marshalls yard as stated on the poster.

Just been speaking to the rally chairman who tells me they still have room for exhibits, so if any of you are at a loose end on the 4th & 5th August and would like to attend please let us know asap. As this is a new event on a tight budget it will be a COAL ONLY affair.

Some one some where suggested that there might be a road run down to Marshalls yard or the works as I prefer to think of them. Is this likely or just a dream? Our roller will be there and she has never been back to the works since she was built, would love the chance to trundle down and take a few piccies.

we'll be going for a run. As far as i know there is no official plans but nobody will mind at all, its only maybe 2 miles to the works. I think you will find you will be one of many going, just the logistics of making it official would be difficult i've been told ;)
