Dene rally Ropey
 

Had a great time at The Dene Rally a new one in the calender... The weather was ok on Saturday with lots of engines chuffing round the field then Saturday night came the rain and not much movement on Sunday or though some good winching demonstrations to get a Aveling roller out of a couple of sticky problems!!!

Sadly the public didn't turn out either to come and see this good new little show, had 7 or so full size steamers and a handful of minitatures not bad for the first year...

Hope that this one will be back next year because you can count us back in...

Thanks Wendy for posting the pics, it was nice to be camped next to your engine, a great sight in the morning when I opened the caravan curtains!

Nigel and I look very interested in something!

It was a great weekend despite the weather and small public turn out, here's to next year!
