24V Voltage Regulator

Not the modern solid state type. But the old Bosch Lucas type with three coils and contacts.
Do you know of any specialist vintage classic vehicle electrics supplier please?

I remember a friend who was after a 24v Regulator a few years ago and someone told him to try a commercial vehicle breaker and he got one. There is a commercial vehicle breakers yard just out of Newcastle under Lyme near my son in law's yard.

these people do the 12V one's might be worth a call, and see if they can get you a 24V one.

I have always found Ray Trigg very good for new units. He isnt an electrical specialist but if you give him the numbers from your unit he may be able to match it. Mob 07974 361439.

Im assuming you have jumpered a 24 volt feed to the field coils? especially if the dynamo has not been used lately. Thats always a good way to kick an old unit into life.

Good luck

Dave
