Easter events
 

Anyone know of any steam related events this weekend! I know about the one at Gt Dunmow, in essex, and the event at the Great Central railway! Anyone know more about them? Both are a bit far but if there isnt much else on ill have to drive up there for a steam fix!

The 10th Medway Festival of Steam is on at Chatham Dockyard on Sunday 8th and Monday 9th

there has been something new for the last couple of years, hopefully the same again this year.

Great Central Road/Rail Steam, Quorn
 

Collecting together as many ex-Leicestershire County Council rollers as possible, 4 expected including the late Rev. Teddy Boston's 'Thistledown' (first steaming in approx 35 years).
Friday demonstration on building a carousel and night-time steam-powered fairground.
Saturday evening road-run into Quorn
Steam-hauled trains passing through rally site on double track all weekend.:)

The Gallopers were 'lectric today, though Nerys did suggest the engine was like the one 'Uncle Ken' had in his shed (and it is).
