Steam and vintage show @ Seadown

10+ engines out there yesterday and today;
the local clubs two Fowlers
Crossan's SC Burrell agricultural/gp
Steam Scene (Christchurch)'s Burrell RL
a Burrell SCC
3 or 4 other Burrells
A Marshall DCC
Winters' Mclaren
and John Kyle's tractor (can't remember the make - it went to Dorset a couple of years ago)
as well as an R. Hornsby portable, 2001(?) of 1870 and a Marshall portable

Also a beautiful selection of farm machinery, stationary oil engines and yesterday a few vintage cars as well.
Nearly forgot! Two miniature Fowlers, a showman's and a general purpose, a lovely model Burrell and a wee Foster

Any others there might be able to add to my list, it's just off the top of my head.
A really great day there yesterday, came home sooty and spotty as a dalmation! :D

Yes a good weekend and had a bit of interest with 2 engines on the Prony brake and a few tractors. Guy Wigley had a couple of goes with his 8Hp DCC Burrell and no surprises that John Winter also put a 8 Hp DCC on as well. I will organise a few photos in due course. John Kyle had his 4 Hp Mclaren there. There were at least 2 model Burrell engines present. The highlight in the stationary motor section was a 30 Hp Blackstone hotbulb engine. The event featured the International Harvester company and there were lots of red tractors, equipment and a few trucks.
