Just been talking to my friend from Leeds and he has heard that there is something special about Pickering this year and that Simon Boakes is taking bookings for steam but not sure about miniatures and also that Camping for the weekend is £90 :eek:

Anyone know if this is correct ?.

Apparently its their 60th anniversary celebrations and "Steam is the theme". I've spoken to Simon regarding this years event.

Hi are you new to Pickering? Do you have a miniature steam engine? If you are wanting to take a miniature to Pickering PM your details to me ie: name, address phone number, what miniature you wish to exhibit and I will pass them on to the miniature steam steward. Hope this helps?
