Some pictures taken over the weekend at the Statfold Barn event.

Nice Fowler roller with the tar spraying gear.

Great day on the Saturday. The weather was mixed but gave some lovely light and cloud formations. Statfold is always very enjoyable as it is a common sense type of event with no orange fencing, etc. and the public are allowed to walk around the exhibits freely. Please note though that this is a private site and admission is by pre-booked ticket only.

Here are a few of my photos:

And then, very briefly, it got a little damp!!!

But then the sun came out . . .

And every good rally has a working section . . .

Thankyou to Graham Lee and his team for their hospitality throught the weekend.

I don't get why people are moaning lately if their chosen subject isn't in someone else's photo thread, not everyone wants to take pictures of the same thing - be it miniatures or railway engines. At least some people take the trouble to share their pics with us.

The Foden looks very nice, one thing that strikes me that I had forgotten about it, is that how little and unimposing it looks on those blow ups.

The proper cast wheels make them look a bigger and more imposing machines.

Agreed. But Grahams garden railway is pretty impressive! It's not your normal one, 3 gauges, 5 or 6 engines in steam and workshops that will make you drool!
