Aveling & Porter Rear Axle Box Required
 

While dismantling my F type Piston Valve Aveling Roller last week for boiler work, we managed to crack one of the rear axlebox castings. Does anyone have a spare, or know of someone with the appropriate pattern to have one cast.

if the casting is same as for d type, send email. mine is in bits at moment so could be used as pattern

I have let NO5892 know that I have a pair of E/F type axle boxes available. The axle diamater of the 'F' type is slightly greater than the 'E' type, but I think that the 8 ton C/D type axle box would be much too small for the 10 ton roller.
