The Malpas Vintage Machinery Association Ltd was founded in 1971 by a small group of vintage tractor and steam engine enthusiasts.
The first Malpas Yesteryear Rally was held in 1972 and is now held annually on the second weekend after the August Bank Holiday.
This years rally will be held on the 10th & 11th September 2011.

lots of engines organs and auto jumble plus a vintage old tyme fairground

I attended the first rally and have done so for many years... Always a great rally and well worth a visit. thumbsup

My first steam rally was Astle Park in 71 and my parents lived just down the road from Malpas's first and original rally site in 72.

Going to the NRM at York with our Club WMES on the saturday, So can only go on the Sunday. Might you with this rain I might not be going at all.
