GDSF 2011 - Wednesday Pictures

Can somebody tell me what all thu gubbins (gears etc) are for on the side of Atlas? Is she able to have a crane fitted as there looks to be the fittings for one on the front drawbar area?

Just got back from two days at GDSF. Lots of engines I hadn't seen before, or newly out which was nice.
Atlas is lovely, JC lovely... but I thought the newly rebuilt Barnes Bros Aveling roller 14001 was one of the nicest engines there, looked spot on. |
