Just in case some of you think the whole Steam world has moved to the GDSF, a reminder that we have FOUR days of the Power from the Past event at Beamish Museum starting Thursday, finishing Sunday......

I'll be there at the weekend sometime , hopefully checking out the coal fired fish and chip shop for the first time .
Here's hoping for good weather , at least no rain .

Typical! I miss the Locomotion event in July due to the Durham Miners Gala and being chaperone to our Scottish Brass Band at Beamish on the sunday. Now I will miss the Beamish due to being on holiday. I think I will visit The Gwili Railway tomorrow and sulk!
Hope the weather is kind for Beamish. If you get to the front of the fish & chips queue, have a chip on me!
