Piston Rings for Foden MK 6

A friend is looking for piston rings for a MK 6 Foden 2 stroke engine. He needs just the compression and oil rings. He has the top split rings. The diameter is 92mm and have a locating knib on the inside. Since 2 strokes run hot, they have an amount of manganese in the material spec. We have drawings and material specs. but have drawn blanks on trying to find stocks or a manufacturer who will take them on at reasonable cost or quantities. Someone, somewhere will have a box full in their shed . . . .

Any leads will be appreciated.

These engines or versions of them were fitted in boats by R. Navy, Ihave seen Fodens fitted in a lifeboat, so maybe boaty forums may be worth a try?

Heard at the weekend these are manufactured from unobtainium. So good luck with your hunt......

I have found a few from a marine engine dealer, thanks for the tip. I have a few other irons in the fire but still seeking that elusive box full in someone's shed.
