Traction-Talk - TVTEC 50th

The Thames Valley Traction Engine Club celebrated there 50th anniversary in style over the weekend with a superb event held at Richard Hawthornes yard at Cholsey. The whole event had a early preservation gathering feel about it and no modern clutter to be seen anywhere. Richard and his team along with the hard working committee did a fantastic job and the array of cakes and food was superb. Trevor Smallbone had burnt many a midnight hour pulling together a display on the walls of Richard new workshop that covered the whole 50 years of the clubs history. Robert Herring (NTET Chairman) officially opend the event and a very pleasant afternoon and evening was had by all the club members. A road run took place on Sunday to Appleford.
