4 1/2" burrell
 

Well I did it, I bought a pile of metal.
I would say it is about 1/3 done, cylinder (no cover), boiler, hornplates, ashpan, smokebox, steering gears, perch and axle, safety valves, wheel rims, front hubs (only one hub cover though).
Basicaly I was wondering if anyone had any bits lying around that could be of use before I go and buy castings, just about anything considered rusty gear set etc
There must be people like me who find and hang on to stuff in case it's useful.
So if anyone has any 4 1/2" burrell stuff to either design that I can make fit, or anyone building or running the same sort of thing in the south devon area
