3 Okefords rally, Shillingstone.

A very strong engine turnout for this much loved little rally didn't disappoint. Blessed with glorious weather and an abundance of smiling exhibitors.
Engines attending as follows;
Burrels SRL Quo Vadis
Burrell Crane engine Old Tim
Burrell showmans engine Starlight
Burrell Gold Medal May Queen
Burrell Road Loco Duke of Kent
A&P Showmans Tractor Princess Vic toria
A&P roller Foxy Lady
Roby Traction Wally
Roby tractor Our Nipper
Sentinel S6 (Goold family)
Fowler Traction (Out for the 1st time in unrestored condition)
Clayton and Shuttleworth traction Gladstone
Fowler A7
Fowler roller
W&S Advance roller
Donkin Bitza freelance showmans wagon
Foden wagon Freddy
+ a few others I didn't manage to catch up with.

Mini tractor pulling drawing good crowds with the usual mishaps, mayhems and blowups. It took steam to show the way with Our Nipper making it look so easy.

No pictures as numpty forgot his camera, but I'm sure someone can oblige.

Charlie.

The show is well worth a visit and good value at just a fiver to get in

Sentinel wagon no.9032 of 1934
Great rally as normal and really good selection of engines with most them roading to the event. Robey did well on the tractor pulling sledge although they were a lot braver than I am!
Didn't recognize the Marshall TE anyone know any info or history about?
Will post some pics here and vids on youtube when I get the time.

What a rally, brill as normal. We got home ok with the tractors, they were a good as gold all weekend. This weekend was my ploughs first ever outing, looked great and worked a treat. Was very heavy on the back of Freda and made her work hard which prob did her some good. Very tiered now and a little sun burnt but happy. Struggling to write so I am going to bed.

Good pictures, Jim. The Marshall is 86265, and I think owned by Ron Bond..... May have come from the Gordon Glover collection. SDSPS will be able to enlighten us. Was at Dorset a few years back I seem to recall.
