Colchester Bantam 2000 lathe in good mechanical condition. Cosmeticaly it needs a bit of TLC and probably a coat of paint would not go amiss.

In my use the machine has been used on the production of the best part of two 4" traction engines and a large 7.25 gauge locomotive. The machine is three phase but comes with a three phase converter and loads of tooling as shown on this web site link

http://www.northernsteam.com/Lathe_for_Sale.htm

It is also fitted with a top of the range Newall DRO and spherosyn encoders.

The machine is sold as seen and as described in the text and pictures. If at any point some tooling has crept into the snaps that is not included in the sale only the dixon holders etc.

I can deliver at cost on my trailer although you would have to have your own means of unloading.

The machine is located in North Northumberland and is still connected up so can be seen working but only at a weekend. Serial number of the machine is 3/0021/02072DD

I am open to offers around £2500
