Fowler Flywheel Brake

Hi,

I know that it is likely to be a very long shot, but if you don't ask you don't get. ;)

Does anyone have one, parts of or maybe even drawings for a Fowler DNA Roller Flywheel brake? Mine was fitted with one when new, but was removed later in life & has the studs under the flywheel with nuts still fitted! Also just above the damper handle, is the fixing hole for the adjuster to apply the brake.

Any information on this, would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Dan

Please feel free to post, PM or email(daniel.finnegan@solent.ac.uk) me thanks.

I have one for my DNB. It has a, I think, huddersfield makers plate on it. It bolts on with 4 bolts around the ashpan handle (cant even remember if its above or below!) along with another to brace it. I can take some photos if its of any use when I get back home. Its not fitted at the minute as its a "to-do" project.

Hi Iain,

Thank you for your offer, I will take up Bob's offer of a copy of the drawings & maybe ask you for some photos if I can't make sense of it all.

Many thanks again, for your prompt response.

Regards

Dan
