GWR Steam Fair, Toddington
I went over to GWR Rally today at Toddington. They have now moved back to the previous site adjacent to the station. The sun never came out like the weather said it would but I won't moan about that. Excellent cross selection of engines and working displays, although no steam ploughing this year. Worth a visit and you can look at the trains too if that's your thing.
Some pictures that I took today. Prefect weather on Sunday, a brilliant rally will be going next years.

Ah yes , dear old Countryman. Many fond memories of that at Jack Marshall's and all around Warwickshire and the West Midlands in my youth.

Ooo, a Tender by 'Basil'
Though I'm pretty sure the step isn't his handywork. |
I had not seen it in a long long time. Martin will testify, I was strangely some what enchanted by it. Lovely machine!
