I was very impressed by the impromptu talk on Saturday morning by a certain person on a certain engine about "all the ***** things Ruston got wrong when they built an engine".

Any pictures of the fun and games in the ring on Saturday afternoon my sides still hurt from all the laughing. An epic weekend from start on Thursday morning to getting the engine home yesterday afternoon.

I know what you mean. It was like water skiing but being towed by a steam engine, on grass, while carrying a bucket of water!

By the way, does anyone have any pictures of the miniatures present?

Terry.

Are you sure your sides hurt from laughing and not from trying to (illegally) put the entire drum of water onto the carpet.

Ahh I now have photographic proof of the Team Strawb having a person at each end to turn them round when I was still running each end.
The drum was just an ongoing innovation to the rules. Still I did well to get to the end with that on there it must have had 60-70L of water in it.

Just wait till you see what they will be doing next year!!!!

Bugger missed the games. My pit team were obviously too slow.
