Much Marcle 2010

Some photos taken today at Much Marcle. Despite quite a lot of rain over the past 2 days the ground was quite dry with just enough "give" to make the engines sound as though they were having to work without getting stuck. The weather was warm with sunny intervals but a little breezy.
A line up in the parade ring.

The last time I photographed this ex-North Riding County Council Foden was in the mid-1960s at a Birtley Rally when in the ownership of Monty Thackeray

Plus a roller I last saw in early 1970 parked up with a road making gang near Ledbury. This roller is still owned by Herefordshire County Council and the driver was pleased to take to me about the roller and happily accepted a couple of my photos of the roller which I took in 1970

So did you make the wedding?
Not going today - Leg playing up. To much exercise over rough ground.

Yes, Roy made the wedding fashionably late and even got dragged round the céilidh once i'd had some pig brook beer. i'll try get some for kemble, there's some good beer from north cotswold brewery.
i have to say marcle has to be one of the best events lots to see not too commercial and fantastic company.
if you need some where to park up pre kemble (or any other time your passing) your more than welcome. were about a hour and a quarter from marcle
