1944 Scammell R8

I am trying to have a clear up and have for sale 2 Scammell rigid eight wheelers. They are both derelict but the 1944 chassis drives. I have cab parts and a full set of tyres. The 1952 chassis has a flat body which could be salvaged. The 1944 is on coils on the front leaves on the rear. The 1952 has leaves on the front and rubber on the rear. There really is only enough left to make one whole one with spares left to keep it on the road. I have one V5 and with some effort you could get the other ok. 1952 is ex Crow Carrying, Barking and the other is ex Joseph Lucas auto electrical parts

Rigid 8's command a high price when restored but i dont have the time at present. Its a great project for keen restorer. As far as i am aware the only a few parts required to complete the job.

Anyone interested give me a call. I need £3500 for the lot please. 07860 959878 Dave
