This Weekend CORBRIDGE
 

This Weekeend, 12&13th June South Tyne Traction Engine Society rally at Tynedale Rugby ground, Corbridge, Northumberland.

Normally a good selection of exhibits and a small working area. Great setting if the weather is good......

what route are you taking will you be going through gateshead and over that way or a diffrent route

ahh well will c you there might c u on route then we have got the engine at a farm outside of corbridge at the mo ready to road to the site on friday

Trying to get there Saturday. Not allowed to drive at the moment and my transport is on brass band duty at Ropner Park, Stockton on Sunday

This is my local event, but I am sorry to say that I usually find myelf elsewhere this weekend. This year I was able to attend. I have to say that it was lovely. Plenty of exhibits to drool over. At the main ring in the afternoon the class parades were well attended, I was surprised to see just how many tractors you can get in the ring (aka a rugby pitch!) Pleased to have good weather as well (Today, Sunday, is rather more wet! and I am having some "quality me time" at home)
Congrats to organisers, exhibitors and visitors on the weekend!
