Sandbach Transport Festival
 

Is anyone going? I know it clashes with Southport but Saturday is advertised as having steam engines on show. Do we know anyone who is going?

If you are into commercials, Sunday is worth a visit for the parade of trucks throught the town centre. The emphasis is on Foden and ERF of course but it's a nice family day out.

I'm guessing that there will be a black fowler roller in attendance.

I have agreed to deliver tractors on Saturday. :-( Big mistake it seems!

I don't think there will be a lot of steam there so it will still probably be there on Sunday but maybe tucked away somewhere. The problem with holding it in the centre of town is lack of space. I can always send you a note on Saturday night when we get back.

If you have a free Sunday, it's worth going anyway. There's always a few good examples of Foden and ERF trucks. They also have a procession through the town, a hog roast, town criers etc.
