A&P R10 Firehole Door
 

Can anyone help with sourcing either a pattern for, or a casting of, an Aveling & Porter R10 firehole door please?

I need one as well, and the associated hinge pin casting. What size is your firehole?

I seem to remember TT member 'The Engineer' had some cast a few years back, may be worth dropping him a message on here.

Mine died very many years back and is currently held together with random blobs of braze. Probably just as well it's on the shelf with al the other bits waiting to be re-fitted ......

I've had one cast for mine and i know two people with patterns that i could put you in touch with, but there are different sizes as i found out between early and late avelings. I did however reuse the hinge casting. I have also somewhere got the drawing for the 'spinner' if that helps
