1974 'N' reg Atkinson Defender 8x4, Cummins engine, 10 speed Fuller gearbox. This lorry is in excellent condition,

Very good tyres, diff locks, fully rebuilt cab (timbers doors, etc.), recent clutch, fully sorted engine, brakes, etc. everything works as it should, even the air wipers. Regularly serviced by Seddon Atkinson dealer. 30ft behind cab, the generator is not included. Body can be removed for buyer leaving it as a flatbed.

The Atkinson club said 'this is one of the best Atkinson Defenders in the country'.

This lorry needs no work doing to it and is ready to rally or work.

It was new to Moffats Haulage of Cornhill-on-Tweed, Coldstream in Sept 1974. It was supplied as a flatbed with a body length of about 24ft. The cab colour was Mid Brunswick Green with red rad and top bumper. I've got a few photos of the lorry as it was when with Moffats. There is also a copy of painting showing the lorry with a livestock box sitting on the flatbed body. The other pics show the lorry with a sheeted load of bagged potatoes.
