Bardwell Steam Thrashing Day 8th October
 

We will again be staging our Steam Thrashing Day at Bardwell on Saturday October 8th. There will be visiting engines, a licensed beer tent (till 11 pm) refreshments and a few tractors and other vintage stuff. Hopefully the star attraction will be my sons big 60” Foster thrashing machine in action for the first time since laying dormant since 1976…

The wheat from the drum will be winnowed and milled into flour in the Windmill

All proceeds will go to the ongoing restoration of Bardwell Windmill. Postcode for the field is IP31 1AH entrance £2

All are welcome especially if you can bring something old to join in and exhibit
