2011 Balado Rally CANCELLED!!

Just had a look at Bon Accord Steam Clubs website & they report that Balado won't be on this year:

2011 RALLY AT BALADO IS CANCELLED

Unfortunately due to a planning issue between the Balado site owner and the planning authorities within Perth & Kinross Council along with the Health & Safety executive, there is no planning permission to hold our event at Balado this year. It is with regret that we have to inform everyone there will be no Balado rally held by the Scottish Traction Engine Society in 2011. We are hoping the situation can be resolved for 2012

They are looking into opening the airfield again hence the planning permission

This may not be resolved before May and it was felt, for various reasons, that it would be a safer move to cancel now.
