On the road to Strumpshaw
Here are a few pictures of Garrett agricultural no. 32936 of 1916, 'Felsted Belle', on her way to the Strumpshaw Rally.
The best route included a few miles of dual carriageway, but that did allow an 'aerial' view of the 'road train'. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53951 https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53952 Followed by negotiating some road works. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53953 Before more open country. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53954 And a picturesque village. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53955 Before visiting a more modern setting. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53956 Modern gardens are not really designed for engines. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53957 Open countryside again. Bright sun in just the wrong direction for photography. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53958 Passing the old lodge house for Stoke Holy Cross Hall, with the sun still in the wrong place! https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53959 A final bit of sun and shade in the Norfolk countryside before I had to leave 'The Belle'. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=53960 Thanks for another enjoyable day out. Love the driveway photo, I bet the neighbours loved seeing that backing in next door to them!
