4" Scale Plowing engine

Does anyone do drawings for this size engine and castings ? Not too bothered about make.

If I could get enough detail I may even be able to graft the design onto an existing kit.

Many thanks.

You could always double up Haining's designs for 2" Fowlers, 16NHP K5, BB1 or the Z7S/Superbra.

Will make a big model in 4" shold be just over 8ft long.

plowring engine

how about doing a 6inch scale one that would def be big

I was hoping for some links to actual plans and castings.
Scaling up from existing plans would not be that hard for me but the absence of castings would make it a non starter.

At 8 foot it would also be a tad large so perhaps a rethink on something round the 3" scale may be better.

As I'm new to this game I'd appreciate any links or contacts, tried Googling and even searching this forum but not had a lot of luck.

Cheers lads.

This will take you to Billy's ploughing engine build.

Its possible that 4" patterns are about as Station Road steam had a 4" K5 for sale, may be worth contacting them as he has sold several engines by the same builder and may be able to find out if the patterns exist.

I'm 95% likely to do a 2" Z7S or Superbra when my current engine is finished but will get castings from Blackgates, just too many reports of supply issues with Brunell.
