flywheel

Looking for a 4` 6" dia 6 spoke flywheel with 7" rim as it looks like we have two cracked spokes. Can anyone help please?

I would bet that you could cast a new one off your old one , after a bit of preparation . Ring or pm me .

Could do, but rim is bent! always has been since we got it, which is probably the cause of the cracking.

One idea i had was to remove the spokes, re-align and then weld up again. We had our block repaired by Slinden Welding services - very good job too, but a replacement flywheel would be quicker to sort, and allow us out this season.

What have you done about your flywheel Single speed? I for one am on tenderhooks!

Considering all the options at the moment.

1 - Weld up old flywheel
2 - Cast new
3 - Aquire replacement
4 - Give up!
