SAC Driving Day, Yorkshire - September
 

The Leeds and District Traction Engine Club in conjunction with the Steam Apprentice Club are organising a private driving day for SAC & L&DTEC club members only to allow hands-on experience with full size and miniature engines. This will be the fourth time the event has been organised, and is to be a full day event, held on Saturday 9th September in Otley, just north of Leeds.

We have full and exclusive access to the parking field, prior to the Otley VINTAGE Transport Extravaganza which is to take place on Sunday 10th.

We currently have a small number of full sized engines which have agreed to attend, but we would appreciate a few more to provide a reasonable ratio of engines to apprentices.
If you are in a position to bring either a full sized engine or miniature, you would be more than welcome.

Coal and water, along with some food and drink, will be provided by the Leeds Club.
Some contribution to expenses may be possible for full sized engines to assist with transport costs.
Attendance will be by prior arrangement with the organisers, please do not just turn up on the day.
