Shuttleworth Steam & Vintage Airshow 04.09.22
 

Afternoon All,

Quite an unusual event in steam terms, this show was held at the Shuttleworth Collection in Old Warden and as well as ground displays of full size and miniature steam, classic/ vintage vehicles etc and a vintage funfair, the afternoon featured a 3-hour flying display including Collection-owned and visiting aircraft.

A feature of all Shuttleworth airshows is the vintage vehicle parade along the flight line which precedes the flying display. Two of the full-sized steam visitors took part;

Most of the visiting ground exhibits started to leave about 30 minutes before the flying stopped at 17:30, although a couple were just leaving as I headed back to the car park;
