Here is my selection of Full Size engines at the rally on Saturday including one very nice Foden 9 inch miniature bus. Enjoy :)

Seemed rather quiet on Sunday, with exhibits rather spread. It was an enjoyable small show and a relief to edge back towards normality. William was grinning all day as this was his first rally since Onslow 2019. He's still full of enthusiasm today and went straight to our workshop after school & spent the next 3 hours tidying things up so he can play on his projects...

People said it was quieter on the Sunday. I think the dire forecast may have put some people off.
But as I work on Saturday, I had no choice but to go on Sunday. It was dry all day !! Fantastic. It was so good to get back to a traditional steam rally after 2 years of lockdown. A few clips of video here. https://youtu.be/7q-cY1yJ_b4 I spent so long chatting to friends I hadn't seen for two years, I had to rush round and grab these pictures at last knockings. |
Edit to add
Congratulations and thanks to Richard Hill and the whole team for managing to put on a proper old-school event. |
