EATES Road Run 15th June 2019 - part 2
Here's another batch of my photos from this excellent day out. (Well someone did ask!) No logic in the pictures or the order. For details of the engines see part 1. I'm afraid that I didn't note the names of Aveling 12136 or the Wallis, if they have them.

Note the skid marks from the other roller on the sharp bend at the top. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54515 12136 on the open road. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54516 I wasn't the only one watching engines going by. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54517 Mighty Atom outside The King's Head. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54518 Miniatures at The King's Head. (Do the drivers only drink halves?) https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54519 The miniature Foden leaving the railway museum. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54520 Mixed traffic at the museum. I didn't see the miniature Dodman in the background again, so I'm afraid it must have had some trouble. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54521 The miniature Fowler SRL, which I left out of part 1. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54522 The Old Girl before the start, with still rusty rolls. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54523 And leaving the drive to the museum. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54524 And coming back over the railway bridge at the end of the run. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54525 Peter Pan ready to start. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54526 And taking refreshment at The King's Head. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54527 Sir Douglas out in the country. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54528 Two Fowlers - little and large. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54529 The Wallis and the miniature SRL leaving the museum. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54530 The Wallis, parked on the pavement. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54532 And out in the country. https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=54533 Glen, thanks very much for organising things. When's the next one? Bill. |
Fantastic pictures as always Bill. A fantastic road run organised by Glen with a good selection of engines and well planned route with plenty of ups and downs to keep the crews busy, and lovely scenery for the many happy passengers! Roll on the next one
