Great display of engines.
Shame the bloke that organised it was refused any passes to hand out, or even sent one himself. So much for loyalty or thanks eh? Oh well once bitten and all that. By all accounts was a good solid show after a few years of going tits up. At the end of the day thats all that matters. |
Many years ago Fairford was a regular event for exhibitors from the Potteries. Excellent pictures, thanks for posting, that Paxman diesel looks impressive.

Norman Hillman came to visit on sunday, his uncle was a Barnes driver and he knows a lot of their history, I could not remember your gramps name, Norman thought he would probably be able to help with more info, so if you send me his name I will write to Norman and we'll see what happens! the sun shon on sunday too! Could the green grass be anything to do with all the Bullxxhit!?

Paxman engine
Did you like my write up on the Paxman? Mary
|
Your write up on the Paxman was well written & equaly well presented. No doubt we will be hearing more from you & your Paxman! It is a shame the pictures dont do the history notes justice, is it possible to put the notes & maybe some more photos on here please?
