If you come on the Saturday there is a nice road run to Ravensthorpe in the evening, with lots of engines and some nice photo/video opportunities....

Im new to steam and new to this site , im going to hollowell as well and am realy looking forward to it iv even brought a camper van , im one of the people putting on the New Classic Gathering 2009 at Grendon Lakes Northants .

Will be there with the Aveling 10647 and the Armstrong Whitworth , Roading them from Market Harborough tomorrow (friday) Harborough , Clipston . Naseby, Gilsborough, Hollowell , if anyone wants to take some photos on the road . come and say hello

Well, we've been going for several years now, and have never had a problem, yes it does get somewhat busy, but isn't that a good thing, people through the gate and all that... Always having had a brilliant weekend.... Superb road-run too, with some good hills....

It was my first time attending this event and thought it was very well organised with a nice variation of attractions and exhibits.
