Proff 31st January 2021 10:31 PM

There was one at Brunel College in 1984 but I think it's gone now.

I enjoy these threads enormously. And without spoiling the fun, will the punchline suggest that John Fowler was an ignorant man or that Sea Scopia will somehow variate the speed of the lathe?

Proff 3rd February 2021 08:04 PM

I reckon that Colchester must have worked for Fowler, he started off as a student.

No, he never made it that far. He ended up in the canteen looking after the deep fat fryers. He was the chipmaster.

Were his chips a triumph?

Proff 4th February 2021 09:56 PM

Most certainly, it was all down to him having a good mascot.

Thecornishsteamenthusiast 5th February 2021 01:05 AM
