Leigh Arms Steam Party
 
The 40th Hollybush Steam Party was held at the Leigh Arms this weekend. (dont ask!)

Superb do, good company and good fun.

16 full size engines, several miniatures and a load of steam boats plus other assorted tackle.

No doubt some photos will appear in due course.

The steam tug Kerne was moored on the River Weaver also, along with all sorts of working boats too!

yea thats true as soon as that sun went down today it didnt half go cold but yesterday was freezing but thats english rally weather lol;)

But it was dry when it counted, rain at night, no problem !! Best Hollybush doo ive been to for years.
Spent most of this afternoon watching formation rolling, good time was had by all.

Would just like to say a BIG thank you to all who turned up to mark the 40th Steam Party in the Little Leigh area over the week end and a BIG thank you to the Land Lord and all the staff at the Leigh Arms who make the event possible by letting us use their car park, and for putiing up with us all.

The weather could have been a lot worse, it could have rained during the day !

Here's to next year.

I really enjoyed it despite the engine being stuck on the lowloader! Hopefully be back next year with living van in tow.

Its a John Collins steam tractor, the sole surviving example.
