Yes that's right it is Foden 13630.
I didn't expect it to be there as I
thought it was based in Cornwall !

Locations in the TER are not always up to date...

Re Grey Foden.

I felt over the PR System it was announced it had just finished full rebuild, was its 1st outing and belonged to someone in Barnton, Northwich, Cheshire ie very close to Ashley.

The Foden Agritractor has changed ownership recently to Blackpool, and is exhibited by Johnsons of Banks. I was driving it round the ring on Sunday, and what a wonderful machine.

Its been out a few times now, was at Liverpool steam on the docks a few weekends ago too.

Is the engine & boiler similar to Foden undertype wagon ?

The boiler doesnt have the firing chute of the wagons. Which was one of their faults. Otherwise yes.

The engine is simpler, in that it has no gearbox. So a different case. Lots of detail diferences. But essentially the same engine.

Yes the firing chute in the crown is missing in comparrison to the speeds, of course in the speeds the boiler is mounted pointing backwards, so the fire hole door that is used on the agritractor isnt accesible from within the cab.The boiler for the agritractor is a type O. I have given John the drawings last weekend for the boiler and fittings.
