Thanks for sharing Arthur, some great pictures. great turn out of engines by the look of it, the ottomeyer is an impressive beast!

Anyone have anymore info on the Engine with S, H & L Steam Engineers Ronmey Marsh on the canopy?

I do not remember that I have ever seen that traction engine with crane.
Does someone have some information about this, please?

It is a much doctored Aveling roller

Great pictures thanks. Who's is the rather splendid compound Aveling roller, never seen that before.

And the Foster aggy.

According to the programme, 'Built by A.J.Nandi, and the owner, over a 4 1/2 to 5 year period, to produce a nippy, and economical good handling tractor, having covered over 1000 miles this engine has turned out to be very successful'

It had a plate on the side "4 ton 3 Speed Patent Compound Stratton-Hatcher & Landi Steam Engineers, Kent" it was road registered GN09 SHZ

looks a cracking rally one I might try to attend with my engine next year.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Without stiring up the conversion hot topic again it seems a strange move converting a roller to an agri on strakes as would be a lot more uncomfortable on the road and possibly a bit slower is there info when or why it was done? By why I mean broken headstock or similar not just the financial reason.

IMO They have done a really nice job of turning her out in crane engine form.
