Not long now till Pickering Traction Engine Rally 2015

Just trawling through youtube and found this from last year.

https://youtu.be/ZvJZxyEsTNQ

Lets see what www.theeventsorganiser.co.uk can come up with this year at the famous Pickering Traction Engine Rally.

Hopefully the good weather will come too.

I would say I can't wait. As then at least we'll stop hearing about it, then again come August 3rd you'll start ramming Pickering 2016 down our throats.

Not long to Pickering traction Engine Rally 2015

No Offence attended but if you are not interested about Pickering why reply ??
No one complains about any other Rally being mentioned a lot on here so why make a fuss !!
Again no offence intended.

I think the organiser would do well to pay for an advert

Steamhead21 2nd June 2015 06:13 PM

their were loads of Adverts around the NE for Sunderland when it was on

It's an open forum and in Britain thankfully we still have the right to freedom of speech. Don't worry, I moan about all the Dorset hype. So please don't feel like I've singled Pickering out. I used to enjoy the old Pickerings.

Posters are appearing now for Pickering on the Showfeild at Pickering .
Lets hope it improves now under the new organization .
Last year was OK..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been led to believe that the event on Pickering showground is being staged by the original organisers and the new Pickering is actually being held near Harrogate on the same weekend.

It is the other way round, new organisers on the showground.

I today have just seen a sign up north.
it says that the show has been relocated.
this is rubbish as I have also checked with pickering showfield and they have confirmed that the events organiser is definitely running Pickering Traction Engine Rally there.

The great Yorkshire show is a new show and that is it.

Sorry to go on but this really p@#$ es me off when others attempt to ruin an established show.

Forget all about it, we barely noticed. I mean, it is not as if your previous 28 posts have not been banging on about it already. ;)

wjvardy1942 12th July 2015 10:53 AM

Dave (Radhew) all this banging on (sorry advertising) in 28 post`s has even got me hooked but I am confused about which to book for a weekend after all that, not sure if to go to the new Pickering at the old site or the new Pickering at the new site, the new Pickering with the old organiser with interesting history and perhaps some of the the usual suspects will give it another go, or are they going to avoid the new or is it the old in protest, could we call them in future Pickering "A" and Pickering "B" to avoid all this confusing.

gotnocoalagain 13th July 2015 01:30 AM

Lets humour this by is Pickering 'A' Allerton Park. Or is Pickering 'B' Boak?
Either way I know where I'm going.

Tenerife. ..
