Well worth a visit their is so much to see at Beamish you cannot see it all in one visit.
You pay once lasts you all year.
All hard standing good event to go to.

Hi Neil, we are coming up with the Robey and trailer. Really looking forward to it.

The Gallery of confirmed exhibits has now gone live on the Beamish Transport Blog, the confirmed exhibits look like its going to be another Fantastic event for Beamish. It looks like there will be in excess of twenty road steam machines present.

Looks like it's going to be another fantastic event this year , nice selection of exhibits :cool:
Gets better every year , really gets the season off to a flyer in my opinion .

As far as we know this is the furthest north the engine will have been since the 70s.

You won't be sorry Tiny. we also have a two hour trek but we would'nt miss it for the world. We go about four or five times a year all on one entry fee. 12 month ticket amazing :

As mentioned in my original post Beamish is well worth a visit and is all hard standing so not afected by rain etc.
I think the food is expensive but that could just be me so allways take some sarnies with me.

I don't get chance to eat much at this event , too much going on to worry about food .

Really looking forward to this years event, many different vehicles, it just gets better and better. really looking forward to seeing the Fowler B6 Crane engine again. Trying to start a build of a 4" scale road version.

I spent many happy hours driving that engine when she in Essex with Edna Driscoll......... Happy Days.........

She is looking absolutely superb now.

Engine back together and steamed, class 1 passed this morning....!! Just a few little jobs to do and the carrimore to sort out. :D

Had a lovely day today - sun was shining, and the camera behaved, although I was surprised at just how many people were there, it was really busy.
Met a few people I know and had a good chat ..........
