Is it too late to apply for a entry form for this year?

woodypup59 2nd February 2015 05:28 PM

Contact Mr Steam Junior of this parish.

Mr Steam Jnr 4th February 2015 07:15 AM

No special theme planned as yet, 2014 would have been theme year but we decided against it due to the work going into the NTET RR two weeks later.

Next year is the BSEPS 60th and there will be a special planned for then.

How about a list of engines that will be attending to tempt those who are not yet committed to coming?

Sounds like a good idea since I'm planning to attend either on Saturday or Sunday

Latest information says it will not be appearing at Old Warden but there is a photo of it in "Old Glory".

Mr Steam Jnr 16th September 2015 04:24 PM

Bob is not booked in.

Approx 140+ booked in

woodypup59 16th September 2015 04:52 PM

I haven't got last years brochure, but In 2013 there were 183 full size steamers, 70 miniature steam, 120 tractors, 80 classics cars, 80 classic commercials, plus motorbikes, classic caravans, and the Shuttleworth collection of planes and cars.

Is that enough ?

Steam Boy Hertford 16th September 2015 08:31 PM

Last year, I attended on the Friday and counted 132. 4 more arrived after I had left (in the evening or overnight)

Hello

Could anyone let me know what it's like under foot at the Rally Site please. We have had a lot of rain where I live and hoping its hasn't been as bad there. Thinking of going tomorrow but the driver is worried it's too muddy to attend 😞 grateful for any info. Also how many engines are now on site?

Many thanks

Landrover4 18th September 2015 05:25 PM

Been on phone to man who has his engines there ground is good drove engines in yesterday no problem. The land there is very good free draining.

Mac1652 18th September 2015 09:17 PM

Spent the day up there. It's a little bit soft underfoot in places, 'Princess Marina' got stuck in a soft bit and a couple of isolated areas have been cordoned off but engines are roaming freely and there is no need for waders or wellington boots.

Steam Boy Hertford 20th September 2015 05:49 PM

I was originally planning to go just today but personal circumstances meant that I went on Friday, as well. Photos up soon
