Dorset 14 Photos.
I felt particularly sorry for these two having come a long way and then not managing to unload.

Thanks for sharing. The Mc Laren with the gun behind looks magnificent. I guess the gun was fabricated for the event? It looks like the wheels are from a traction engine. Wonderfull sight.

That's some size of Marshall portable! What rating is it?
|
20 if memory serves me...

I would go for 12 or 14 NHP. As far as I know 16 NHP and above have 5 studs horizontally on the valve chest covers.

There was a really good selection of commercials I thought, and I bet a lot of people didn't bother to slog all the way up to look at them. Nice easy walking once you got there, even when the rest of the site was a quagmire. The ploughing field was easier to walk on than the main areas.

Royal Chester on my Stenner and Gunn No4 rackbench in the wood sawing area. We had a great time there.

Thanks for posting pictures of one of my favorite engines, Royal Chester, she sure looks sharp! Looks like the event is a bit challenging, A good reminder of what the folks had to cope with back in the day just to get their work done. Frank
