Did anyone take any moving pictures, maybe even some with a sound track? Looks like everyone had a good time and it goes to show the people who say we shouldn't be on the road that some of us have more control over our engines than some people have over their cars. Well done all of you.

I have waited for these photo's since the first thread for the trials. I can say what a lovely time you all seem to be having, and with the weather dry, it's the icing on the cake for those who took part. Congratulations to the organizers, just what this hobby is about, using the engines for the enjoyment of so many. Kind regards,

Mark.

Just like to say a Fantastic time was had yesterday on the road run. A massive thanks to Guy Helen and Dan and everyone one else who helped organise the road run. I don't think there's hills like that in Bedford

There's not much more I can add to what's been said before. It really was an amazing event and more than worth the long drive up form "down South"! I'll throw a few of my photos in as well.

Well hopefully we may have an official photographer this year too...! Looking forward to it!

Proff 20th May 2014 02:01 PM

Jim, we West Country boys ought to get our act together and organise something in our neck of the woods. We need to do some lobbying!

We need to speak about this at South Molton Rally Jim... if there's interest it could be a real possibility!

Lovely looking signwriting on the Fowler road loco canopy. Bloke who did that must be pretty good. :p
Nice to see the same spirit and fun that I first encountered over 30 years ago going to rallies like Cromford is still alive and well. In fact, even some of the same folk are still causing trouble! Eh Mr Brothwell?

Ruston 20th May 2014 07:29 PM

Me causing trouble NEVER , ha , our Dan Lancashire Lad is getting good at it ,mind Cromford rally is not the same since it moved from the meadows ,

Cromford Rally is still alive but sadly the spirit and fun have moved on - however on a brighter note the Hi Viz manufacturers are doing very well in these parts........

I thought the signwriting was transfers.......
